Results from the latest CDW IT Monitor indicate that anticipated spending for IT solutions remained unchanged since December 2011. Fifty-two percent of IT decision-makers anticipate spending on IT solutions in the next six months. Small business (51 percent) and local government (43 percent) were the most optimistic about solutions spending, up 14 and 17 percent, respectively.
Additional IT solutions highlights from the latest CDW IT Monitor include:
- Of those looking to spend on IT solutions, virtualization (52 percent), networking (45 percent) and security (43 percent) remain top priorities in the next six months.
- Those IT decision-makers spending less on solutions will reduce investments in managed services (56 percent) and virtualization (40 percent).
