Results from the latest CDW IT Monitor indicate the IT solutions spending outlook is optimistic overall, with local government IT decision-makers being the only group reporting a decline. Forty-five percent of IT decision-makers anticipate spending on IT solutions in the next six months, marking a year high.
Additional IT solutions highlights from the latest CDW IT Monitor include:
- Of those looking to spend on IT solutions, networking, security and virtualization remain top priorities in the next six months (58, 57 and 56 percent respectively).
- Those IT decision-makers spending less on solutions will reduce investments in managed services and virtualization (51 and 45 percent respectively).
