According to the latest CDW IT Monitor, overall corporate spending expectations for IT solutions decreased one percentage point since December 2011 to 54 percent. Despite declines from IT decision-markets at medium and large-size businesses, solutions spending expectations among small business IT decision-makers climbed 14 percentage points to 51 percent.
Additional corporate IT solutions spending highlights from the latest CDW IT Monitor include:
- IT decision-makers medium-size (52 percent) and large-size businesses (55 percent) expect to spend more on IT solutions in the next six months, down nine percentage points and one percentage point, respectively.
- IT decision-makers in the corporate sector remain significantly more likely to increase spending on solutions than IT decision-makers in government (54 percent vs. 41 percent).
