Results of the latest CDW IT Monitor show the overall government outlook for IT solutions spending increased ten percentage points since December 2011 to 41 percent. This increase was driven by increased expectations at the local, state and federal levels.
Additional government IT solutions spending highlights from the latest CDW IT Monitor include:
- The solutions outlook for local and state government climbed to record highs, with 43 percent of IT decision-makers in both levels of government anticipating increased spending, up 17 and three percentage points, respectively
- Decision-makers in federal government were significantly more likely to predict spending on security than decision-makers in any other segment.
